Why most dive-shop sites
lose the booking.
Your site loads. The customer checks the price. Then they close the tab and book somewhere else. Here's why — and it's not the price.
It loads in 8 seconds on a 4G connection
Dive destinations have patchy mobile data. An overloaded WordPress site with unoptimised images kills the booking before the page finishes loading. Half your visitors give up at 3 seconds.
It wasn't built for the phone in someone's hand
Over 70% of travel bookings are researched on mobile. A desktop design squeezed onto a phone screen — tiny text, buttons that miss, forms that need zooming — trains customers to distrust the operation.
There's no clear path to an actual booking
A "Contact us" link buried at the bottom isn't a booking path. Customers who can't see availability or send a WhatsApp in two taps go somewhere with a cleaner flow — even if your diving is better.
Google can't find it
Most dive-shop sites score poorly on Core Web Vitals and lack the structured markup that Google (and AI search engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity) use to surface local dive operators in answers. You're invisible to half the people looking for you.
It's locked to an agency you're still paying
Many dive shops pay $150–400/month to an agency that "manages" a site built on the agency's own hosting. The agency leaves, the site goes down. You don't own what you paid for.
It does nothing while you're on the dive boat
A static brochure site doesn't answer questions, confirm availability, or follow up on enquiries while you're 18 metres down. That's hours of potential bookings going unanswered every day.
These aren't design problems. They're business problems. And they're all fixable in a single build.

we build includes.
This isn't a template swap and a logo drop. Every build is a custom design, engineered for the specific way dive customers research and book.
Mobile-first design
Designed on the phone first, tested on the phone first. The desktop version is the adaptation — not the other way around. Because that's where your customer is when they decide to book.
Booking & enquiry integration
WhatsApp Business API, Bookeo, Rezdy, Peek, FareHarbor, Checkfront — wired directly into the site. Customers click, pick a date, and you get the notification. Standard and Premium builds include this.
SEO & AI-search visibility
Structured data markup, page-speed optimisation, and content that Google — and AI search engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity — can read and cite. Customers who've never heard of you will find you.
Core Web Vitals performance
Image optimisation, lazy loading, minimal dependencies, fast hosting. Sites we build consistently score 90+ on PageSpeed Insights. Fast sites rank higher and convert better — especially on slow tropical internet.
Built in your accounts — yours to keep
Your domain. Your hosting. Your CMS login. Not ours. When we hand over the keys at the end of the build, you own everything — no ongoing dependency on us, no lock-in.
Ready to wire into automation
Every site is built so it can connect to the AI automations we build — auto-replies, lead qualification, booking confirmations, upsells. See what we automate →

How a dive shop website
gets built.
No surprises. A build has four clear phases — you know where we are and what's coming next at every point.
Free 30-min discovery call
We talk through your operation, your customers, your current site (if any), and what you need the site to do. You leave with a clear picture of which package fits and what content we'll need from you.
Content brief & kickoff
We send you a simple brief: photos to gather, copy to review, integrations to set up. Most clients have this ready in 1–2 days. We set up a shared folder and kick off the build.
Design, build & review
We design and build the full site — typically in 10–14 days — then share a staging link for your review. You give feedback in one round; we implement revisions and prepare for launch.
Launch & handover
We go live on your domain, run a final speed and SEO check, and hand over the login credentials. The site is yours — set up in your accounts, ready to run independently. No ongoing dependency on us.

dive shop websites.
How much does a dive shop website cost?
Three one-time tiers: Operator Website from $2,990, Booking-Optimized from $4,990 (most popular), and Website + Automation System from $7,990. After the build, you pay your vendors directly for hosting and tools: typically $30–120/month depending on what you're running (hosting, booking software, WhatsApp API). We don't mark up those costs or take a cut.
For context: many dive shops are paying $150–400/month to an agency that doesn't actually own the site. A Standard build pays for itself in 3–6 months just by removing that retainer — and you end up with something better.
Do I own the website after it's built?
Completely. Everything is set up in your accounts — your domain registrar, your hosting, your CMS. You have the login details. We have nothing.
This is the core of what we mean by "yours to keep." If you decide to hire a different developer next year, or manage it yourself, or just let it sit — there's no dependency on us and no ongoing fee to us. The site is yours the day we hand it over.
Can you connect my booking system to the website?
Yes — booking integration is included in Standard and Premium builds. We work with the most common dive-industry platforms: Bookeo, Rezdy, Peek, FareHarbor, Checkfront, and WhatsApp Business API for direct enquiry capture.
If you're using something else, let us know on the discovery call and we'll confirm compatibility. Not on a booking platform yet? We can recommend the right one for your operation and size.
The goal is simple: a customer lands on your site, wants to book, and there's a direct path to do it — not a "contact us" email link buried at the bottom.
How long does it take to build a dive shop website?
Typically 10–14 business days from kickoff to handover. Basic builds can be faster — around 5 days. Premium builds with full booking integration and automation may take slightly longer.
The biggest variable is content: if you have your photos, course descriptions, and pricing ready at the start, the build moves fast. If content gathering takes time, the timeline extends. We send you a simple brief at kickoff so you know exactly what to prepare.
Will my dive shop website be mobile-friendly and fast?
Every site we build is mobile-first by design — we build and test on phones before desktops, because that's where your customers are. Over 70% of travel bookings are researched on mobile.
On speed: we optimise images, fonts, and code for Core Web Vitals. Sites we build consistently score 90+ on Google PageSpeed Insights. That matters for SEO (Google uses page speed as a ranking signal) and for conversions — especially in dive destinations where internet is patchy and a slow site loses the booking.
We also optimise for AI search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) — adding structured data and citable, specific content so your operation shows up when someone asks "best dive shop in [your location]."

submits your contact form?
A great website gets the enquiry. What happens next determines whether it becomes a booking. Most dive shops reply manually — hours later, sometimes the next day. By then, the customer has booked elsewhere.
