Planet Scuba Mexico —
a site as deep as
the cenotes.
Markus has guided divers through the Riviera Maya's cenotes for 20+ years. His website didn't show it. We rebuilt it into a bilingual, editorial site — built to turn visitors into bookings.
Web Design & Build · Bilingual DE / EN · Delivered in 10 days
What we were working with — and what we replaced it with.
The old site was a stock template that buried two decades of world-class cave-diving expertise under red headers and bullet points. No way to browse the cenotes, no credentials, no site in the visitor's own language.

Generic template. A bold red "CAVE DIVING" header. English only. No cenote detail, no credentials, no story — nothing to tell it apart from any other shop.

Editorial. Bilingual DE / EN. Built around Markus's 20+ years in the water — and engineered so the next visitor books instead of bounces.
An editorial site as precise
as cave diving itself.
Dark, cinematic and content-rich. Every cenote gets its own profile — depth, visibility, conditions, difficulty — so a diver knows exactly what they're getting into before they ever send a message.

Every dive site, mapped.
The Cenotes & Dives section gives each site — El Eden, The Pit, Dos Ojos and more — its own page, written like a dive briefing rather than a brochure.
- Real dive specs up front — depth, visibility, type, difficulty and temperature.
- Conditions & geology so divers self-select the right site for their level.
- A booking CTA on every profile — no hunting for how to enquire.

Six pages.
Zero filler.
Every section earns its place. The site educates as much as it sells — because a diver who understands the dive books with confidence.
Cinematic homepage
Full-bleed cenote photography, editorial serif typography, and a clear value proposition above the fold — written for the diver who's deciding in three seconds. First impression: premium.
First impressionCenotes & Dives profiles
An individual page for every cenote — depth, visibility, type, difficulty and temperature, plus geology, conditions and a booking CTA. Divers know the dive before they enquire.
Rich contentFour-region dive map
Puerto Aventuras, Dos Ojos / Tulum and Puerto Morelos at a glance — distance and pricing from base shown clearly, with transport included flagged as a differentiator.
ConversionInstructor profile
Markus's 20+ years in the water given the space it deserves — credentials, philosophy and photography. Trust is built before the first message is ever sent.
Trust builderWhatsApp-first contact
A WhatsApp CTA on every page — because that's how dive shops actually close. A contact form sits behind it as backup, with response time and languages shown up front.
High conversionFull DE / EN bilingual
Every page in German and English, with a switcher in the nav. Planet Scuba's core market is German-speaking divers — and the copy reads native, not translated.
Bilingual
WhatsApp-first, everywhere.
Dive shops close on WhatsApp — so a WhatsApp CTA sits on every page, with a contact form as backup and response times shown so first-timers know what to expect.
- A WhatsApp CTA on every page — one tap from anywhere on the site.
- Bilingual enquiries answered in German or English.
- Response time & languages shown up front, contact form as backup.
"The site finally looks like the operation — not like a dive shop template from 2015. Our German clients tell us it's the most professional cenote site they've seen."
